  • Supported S.156, creating the felony offense of fentanyl-induced homicide and cracking down on drug traffickers.

  • Secured pay raises for law enforcement officers and new funding for public-safety facilities across Horry County.

  • Sponsored and supported stronger penalties for repeat violent offenders and reforms to end the revolving door in the criminal-justice system.

  • Stands shoulder-to-shoulder with first responders — ensuring they have the tools, training, and respect they deserve.

  • Supports legislation that protects the integrity of women’s sports and preserves sex-specific spaces for women and girls.

  • Helped expand Education Scholarship Trust Funds — extending school-choice eligibility to 85% of SC families by 2027.

  • Supported a $1,500 teacher pay raise and funding for a School Resource Officer in every school.

  • Champion private-property rights & telehealth expansion.

Supporting Our Veterans â€‹

  •  Helps deliver meaningful tax relief for South Carolina veterans — including eliminating state income taxes on military retirement pay.

  • Supports the establishment and continued mission of the South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs to streamline services, expand resources, and improve support for veterans and their families.

  • Secured state funding for a new VA Nursing Home in Horry County — a critical project now underway to serve our region’s large and growing veteran community.

  •  Works closely with local veteran organizations and state partners to ensure veterans have access to the care, benefits, and opportunities they have earned.
