Meet Heather
Representative Heather Ammons Crawford is a proven conservative leader with a record of results for the Grand Strand. As a senior member of the House Ways & Means Committee and Co-Chair of the DOT Modernization Committee, Heather has led major reforms to improve efficiency, accountability, and the delivery of critical infrastructure projects across South Carolina. She’s helped secure millions in state funding for Horry County — from local road repairs and flood mitigation to public safety and emergency response upgrades. As a member of the South Carolina Floodwater Commission, and as a member of both the South Carolina Joint Bond Review Committee and the Waccamaw Council of Governments, Heather continues to drive long-term solutions to protect coastal families and property. A champion for conservative values, Heather is a strong pro-life advocate and defender of the Second Amendment. She’s fought to strengthen penalties for fentanyl traffickers, backed new tools for law enforcement, and advanced legislation to keep our neighborhoods safe. Outside the State House, Heather is a businesswoman and community leader. She founded Your Sister’s Closet, a nonprofit that helps local women prepare for success in the workforce. Heather and her husband, Cam, live in Socastee and are lifelong members of Garden City Baptist Church. Together, they are proud to call the Grand Strand home — and Heather works every day to keep it a safe, strong, and thriving place for families and small businesses.
